Parents’ Days!

You’re Invited!

Every year, Mother’s Day and Father’s Day commemorate the parents that “traditionally” influence our lives.  While mothers and fathers are certainly important, increasingly grandparents, aunts, uncles, siblings, godparents, and close family friends also serve as parental figures and influence our lives and the lives of our children.  This year, at Wichita Falls MCC, you are invited to offer a tribute to all those “Parents” that you most want to honor.

Beginning THIS SUNDAY and through BOTH Mother’s Day (May 11th) and Father’s Day (June 15th), you are welcome to bring flowers, wreaths, signs…whatever you would like to offer, to be placed in our side yard (at Travis Street) as decoration and tribute to the many parents who make our lives better!  Feel free to offer a tribute for your parents, your partner parent, friend parents, extended family parents…anyone who parents!  All are welcome!

A section of the yard will be cordoned off for your tribute.  Tools to place the offering in the front foyer of the sanctuary.  Come to Hospitality Hour at 10:00am and have your tribute placed so others can see it when they come to church!

Happy Parents’ Days!

Not local?  If you would like a tribute placed in your parents’ honor for you, please make a donation to cover the cost of the tribute (suggested amount is $15), and we will purchase it and place it on your behalf.  We will also send you a picture to keep or share with your family and friends.  Visit this link: and scroll down to click on the Donate/Tithe Online button.
